Hi @Jesto sebastian and welcome to the community,
In order to get an overview and deeper insight could you please send a screenshot of a test case?
Thanks in advance.
Best
Stefan
Hi @Stefan Salzl ,
Please see the screenshot of both CSV and the mapping I tried in Jira.
In CSV, "Key" represents the test and Link represents the Story to which the test to be linked. The attached CSV is an update to an existing test in Xray and that's why I mentioned the Test issue ID in the CSV. I get the same error message even if I upload a CSV for creating new tests. Please note that the upload(Create/Update) test cases through csv works fine as long as I am not trying to link to a story.

As mentioned in my former post it would be helpful to see a test case issue. The error message seems that the issue link field is not part of your screen for test cases.

My assumption is that linked/linking issues is not part of the create/update screen of issue type „Test“.
Could you please check your screen configuration?
If you create a Test case manually - are you able to link a story directly within your „create“ screen? (creating via create button - not out of a Story or any other coverable issue).

Hi @Stefan Salzl ,
Yes, I am able to link a test manually to a story as shown below(using Link issue button)
Once I link the test to a story, the story will show the test coverage/execution results as expected(See below).

Please read the instructions carefully:
This is your „view“ screen. Please check if this is available when you create an issue and/or check the screen configuration.

@Stefan Salzl - I get it now. I don't have the link option while creating a Test. I think I will have to work with my Jira admin to add this filed to the create screen sothat this issue will be resolved. Thanks Stefan for the great input! really appreciate it.

AWESOME 🥳🙌🏼 great we could get closer and (hopefully) tackle the root cause.
During the import the same thing happens than while creating the issue. Therefore if the linking is not available in the UI (screen) it cannot be added via import either. Your admin will be able to help and change the screen.
Please consider to accept the answer when this solves the problem.
