Calendar date to display by

Is there a way to change the date used by the calendar, i.e. for documentation, I'd prefer to see items by their publication date, rather than by their Due Date.

Hello @Leo Hernandez

Are you using the Calendar feature in a Work Management project, or another Calendar feature?

With the native Jira Issue Calendar gadget on a Jira Dashboard you can choose the date field to use.

Thanks @Trudy Claspill ! I'm using the stock Jira Calendar under my company managed project.

If there's no solution, I've decided to just use the Due Date for the Jira calendar. But it'd be really nice to have the option to select other dates, like Start Date or Publication Date. I've attached a screenshot of what I'm seeing, in case it might help:

Hello @Leo Hernandez

With the Business/Work Management project calendar currently it is locked to displaying Start Date or Due Date.

There is a change request to enable selection of other date fields. You can comment/vote on it here:

Hi @Leo Hernandez !

You can sync any Jira date fields with Planyway dates. So try to install Planyway team planner. Your start and end dates will be associated with the custom date you select.

If you work with several projects, repeat the steps above for each of them.

Hi @Katarina Harbuzava _ Planyway ,

I've installed Planyway to our instance of Jira; however, we receive an error message when we try to access it for the first time:

Please let me know if I can help resolve this issue, the tool looks pretty useful.

Thanks!

Leo

Hi @Leo Hernandez

Thanks a lot for your patience!

I am sorry for the inconvenience. But such a problem is likely to happen on the Atlassian side. This happens due to temporary technical works.

Could you please try one more time?

Hi @Leo Hernandez ,

One more important addition, when you set the dates to your issues, the cards will be automatically shown in the calendar.
