Is there a way to have the components list on Jira > Project Settings > Components

display alphabetically?

It just adds to the end of the list each time I create a new component. Making it a bit painful to find items.

Hi @Hermin Lalefar,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

You can change the order by clicking on the header, if you click the Components header you can sort the list alphabetically.

Thank you! I see that now. A followup. How about in the Components field itself when I am creating a new Jira. There it is still random.

That does not look like default component screen in Jira Cloud, it does not have a status field. Do you happen to use an app that sync components between projects?
