Can I automate the manual selection of a value for field?

The Field A is a single selection field and I I'm trying to automate and force it get populated when Field B changes. What I'm intending is to display the list for Field A to the user and force to select and option to populate it.

Hi @Cristóbal González ,

You can achieve the same using workflow validator. 

Navigate to the workflow associated with the issue type where Field A and Field B are used.

Select the transition where you want the validation to occur and then add a Field Required Validator for Field A.

This will ensure that the issue cannot progress in the workflow unless Field A is populated.

When Field B is updated, users will see an error if Field A is not filled out when they try to transition the issue.

@Harshit Grover Thanks for your answer and in regardings, is that possible no matter if there are no transition on the way? I mean, the field B change is not attached or related to any transition.

This will be only possible if both the fields are in screen attached to the transition.
