Can I create a chart that covers a time span?

I would like to chart the total of tickets per status over time.  

For example: 

Y-axis: The count of each status

X-axis: Day of the week

And provide a window of time to plot.

 

Is this possible? I can seem to create a filter to capture this, and the reports aren't exactly what I'm look to capture.

Hi Gabriel,

The existing gadgets are not quite what I'm after.  I'd like to see a "filter count" gadget over time, and can't find a way to do that.

Hi Clive,

You can try to use the gadget that have charts and graphs.

This gadget brings the information of a filter/JQL query you save and show the information,.
