Can I enter multiple projects in 1 combined board and end all the sprints at the same time?

Arnoud Aarnoudse May 8, 2018

During our sprint we work on multiple projects at once. What we would like to do is to combine all the projects in 1 board/sprint. And we have managed to do this, but it does not show the "end sprint" option. Even though all projects are now visible in 1 shared sprint and board, we still can not end their sprints at the same time.

Any advice? I'm quite new to Jira...

That suggests the person trying to end the sprint does not have the permission to modify the sprint in one or more of the projects the board covers.

Check the board filter to see what projects it includes, and change the user's permission to match (remember that there don't have to be any issues from a project in the sprint, it only looks at the project permission)

I do have a filter containing all 3 projects, and I am the admin.

When I'm in the combined sprint it does say "All sprints", and it does not offer me the option to end the sprints. When I go into 1 of the sprints of the projects it does offer me the option to end it. I should probably mention that currently each project has it's own sprint and board ongoing and that the board with all of them in it just shows these together.
