We are using Jira Cloud and we don't want to see the bugs in the backlog, just tasks, I can't seem to see a why to filter these however this article seem to suggest there is a way?
Enable the backlog | Jira Software Cloud | Atlassian Support
Does anyone know how to do this? other than perhaps a Quick Filter,
Thanks
Hi @Sarah Jones ,
please edit your filter board using the following guide https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-filters/
Hope this helps,
Fabio

Yes, it should. Btw, if you don't want to see bugs in the backlog why you need to view them at sprint side? Complete this sprint and then edit your board filter.

Okay, appreciate the assistance! if I edit the filter can I get it to show, tasks and stories and only bugs with severity S1 and S2? tasks and stories don't use severity.
project = X AND "Severity[Dropdown]" in (S1, S2) ORDER BY priority DESC
this only shows me bugs, I need to include all tasks and stories, if I can?

If you are using a CMP project you certainly can. You basically add the following to your board's filter.
AND type != Bug
can you tell me what you see in the bottom left corner of your project screen? Team managed or Company managed?

OK then you should be good to go to edit your board's filter. With that said it looks like you have a conversation going with Fabio now so no need to duplicate here.
