Can I log time on a issue that is not assigned to me?

Ernte1893 May 11, 2020

Hi together,

in our embedded project we want to keep track on the actually needed time for certain tasks / bugs / etc. So, while a developer works on his own tasks mostly alone, this is not the case for bug tickets (at least most of the time). Since it is embedded, hw / fpga / fw / pm / .. are involved into , for example system analysis. It does make sense that there is only one assigne. However, for our case, we want to enable the time logging for all (also non-assigned) users. Is that possible?

Thanks,

kind regards

Yes.  To log time on an issue, a person just needs to be pulled into the "can log time" permission in the projects permission scheme.  (via group, project role, dynamic role or any of the other options in the scheme)
