Can I restrict a transition based on the value of the Component dropdown?

Hi, 

Is it possible to restrict a transition to when a particular Component value is set? I have tried to use the "Restrict to when a field is a specific value" rule, which seems to set the transition correctly, but when I save the workflow, the Component value is removed, so the rule is for when the Component field is empty. Does anybody know what the reason for this might be?

I see the same behavior.

So far I have not found any mention of this being a known bug.
