Can I show which epics are associated to a release in the timeline?

I have multiple epics associated to a given release, and I would love to be able to see a visual connection between the epics and the releases without having to filter.

Color coding the epics and the releases could work, or linking them as dependencies would work as well.

Hi @Chris Aronchick (Cat Daddy) ,

Unfortunately, this feature is not available within the timeline view. As you mentioned, within the timeline you can use the version filter to only show the epics associated with specific releases, and a good work-around would be using the epic colors to color code your epics with their given releases.

However, there is a feature within Jira Plans that will allow you group your Releases and see the associated Epics underneath them.

Here is a link with more information: Grouping by releases

The link is for the DC version of Jira Plans, but works effectively the same in the Cloud version.

Hope this helps!
