Can an issue type be in both a Kanban board and a backlog board

I am setting up a new Kanban board and enabling Backlog.  As I move 'states' to the backlog column, will they become visible in both the Kanban board and Backlog board, or just the Backlog board?

Hi @Laura H,

the issues (not issue types) that are in the backlog column (having the status you moved to the backlog-column) will be visible only in your backlog.

The issues, that are in the first column of your kanban board will be visible in the backlog (as next selected issues) and in the kanban board (in the first column).
