Can items searched for in Issue Navigator be Dragged and Dropped into desired order?

I'm sure I used to be able to Drag & Drop tickets after searching for them using the Issue Navigator but that no longer seems to be the case.
I am wondering if,

  • this is a feature that has been removed?
  • I am looking in the wrong place?
  • I need to add a specific query for Drag & Drop?

Any pointing in the right direction is welcome.

Hello and welcome to the community,

I think you talking about the ranking native solution of Jira. To be able to use this you should add ORDER BY rank ASC or ORDER BY rank DESC to be able to perform what you want.

Hope this help

Hi Florian and thanks for the response,

Unfortunately no, that isn't what I was looking for. I was definitely able to Drag & Drop the tickets into a specific order previously (as recently as about three weeks ago). This didn't use query commands. It worked similar to how dragging and dropping items in a backlog works.

From looking around I have seen that maybe its something to do with Access Levels, like maybe I was previously able to Edit results but now can only View?
But I don't know enough to be able to confirm this is even a thing for the Navigator.
