Can see the "Location" field in layaout but can nit fill it

Hi, community!

I can see the system custom field - Location, but I'm struggling with filling it in Jira issue page.

I can see it in the Issue layout, but I can not see on the page. Did I  miss some configuration steps? Or, maybe, I need specific plugging to be installed in, or Jira plan?

Just in case you still need this answered, as far as I know, Location (and UUID) are fields that are not visible/possible to populate.

See the Description of the Location field for its use:

Adding both UUID and Location fields to a project, will enable JIRA Mobile Connect for that project.

Is there a specific type of information you wished to enter into this field? Perhaps there's another custom field we could recommend as an alternative :)

Aah! So its not really a Map location capturing engine. Understood. Will close the ticket.
