Can't add Calculated Number Field (JMCF app) to Issue Detail View

Hi,

I'm trying to add custom field to Issue Detail View in Kanban board. I have already all setup, the calculated number field works, I can add it to card layout but in Issue Detail View configuration I can't find it.

What should I do to add this Custom field to Issue Detail View?? I'm completly out of ideas.

Hey there Michael,

According to the documentation on this the field should be loading, and I was not able to locate any information on limitations on custom field types from third party add-ons.  To follow up I created this bug report so we can start tracking this:

I would also recommend reaching out to Innovalog via their support channel to take a secondary look at this to see if they are aware of a workaround, their support channel can be found here:

@Earl McCutcheon I believe it’s because calculated custom field types (subclasses of CalculatedCFType) are not supported by the issue details view. But I’d love to be proven wrong.

Hi David,

Thanks for the additional comment, and I agree with you that it is probably something along those lines, but I could not find any mention on a limiting factor for allowable field types, so its either a Bug as the documentation is mentioning it should be possible but as you suggested we may just have a Documentation mix up that needs extra clarification on the functionality.
