Can't add gadgets to a dashboard

This question has been raised before, men no solution was provided:

Has anyone experience with the issue and a solution at hand? Would be much appreciated.

Hey @Peter Skaarup Jensen 

 

  • What version of DC are you running for Jira and are these native apps or add-ons? If they are add-ons, please name them and provide the version.
  • Does this impact every dashboard in your instance?
  • Has it ever worked in the past? 

 

Data center instances can be quite tricky to troubleshoot over forum posts as there are a large amount of configurations that are possible, can be difficult to find a blanket solution so the more we know about your environment and situation, the better. 

 

If the gadgets are 3rd party add-ons I would recommend disabling and enabling them again. Better to perform this in a test environment if this is a production service. 

 

If you have access to the logs, even better.

Thanks for your reply.

It is a bit mysterious, as it only concerns one user at the moment. We have off course deleted browser data on the users laptop, but it didn’t help.

It has worked before, but not since we recently upgraded to Jira v9.12.8. As far as I can see we use native apps.

Have you heard about this before?
