Can't add workflow

Mark Daisley October 19, 2021

Hi. Until today Jira was working fine. However I accidentally deleted a column in the board settings. When I added the column back in, I can't find the relevant workflow options. The workflow has been published and was working fine until I deleted the column itself.  I've check the workflow again and it is as expected.  However the workflow status I need is no longer available, it's not even in the "unmapped status" section. Had anyone encountered this before? Thanks

Hi Mark - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

What type of project is this? If you just deleted the column and nothing in the workflow itself, meaning that when you look at the workflow the status is still there, then the status should be available to map. Did you do a CTRL F and search for the status while in the board settings?

Hi John, this is a Scrum project. I did just delete the column, nothing else.  I've ran a few test tickets to see how they map and they go as expected until the reach this status that I can't locate. The can progress through the workflow as expected however they miss a column within the kanban as I can't map it.     Apologies, I'm not sure where is the board settings I should CTRL + F, would it be in Column Management? Thanks

All sorted now. It turns out it was the main board JQL filter which had also been changed (not by me) I've now reverted back and it seems to have worked.  Bad timing all round I think!!

Ah, yep, that would do it as well.
