Can't find new screen scheme when trying to change?

Created a new screen scheme, but when I go into project settings, I can't find the new screen scheme in the list when trying to update it.

Why is this? Custom fields are associated with the scheme in question, but have no idea why it's not showing up.

On top of your screen scheme, you also need an issue type screen scheme, which associates your screen scheme with the issue types in your project.

From your project configuration, it is the list of issue type screen schemes that you can select, not the screen schemes.

Thanks! I've figured that part out; however, fields aren't showing by default on the view issue screen.

But when I click edit, I can see those fields in the edit screen. I've specifically added a view issue screen in my screen scheme.

Any reason why the fields aren't showing up on the actual issue page? Is there a different screen I need to set?

No, not necessarily. By default, custom fields are hidden from the issue view screen as long as they don't have a value set.
