Hello,

A user can't search for users when they use JQL in Jira Software. This user who is using the following Permission Scheme and has the following permissions.

This user can't see 'Adrian' when using JQL. But can assign 'Adrian' to the issue. What permission would allow this user to see 'Adrian' for JQL?

Permission Scheme A permissions

-Has Administrator role

-Has 'Browse projects' permission

-Has 'Assignable User' permission

-Has 'Assign Issues' permission

That user is not granted the Global Permission to Browse Users.

Users without this Browse Users Global Permission would still be able to add users to any user picker field by explicitly providing the exact username - or groupname as the case may be, but will not have auto-suggest working for them.

Hey Muhammad,

The problem with the browse global permission is that users can see everyone including customers which can be messy and confusing.

Is there a way that will allow users just to see agents or anything like that?

Thank you
