Can't upload new avatar

I cannot upload an avatar to any of my projects. I can select it and choose the area I want to show, but then I get the following error:

Cannot attach file Admin 1.jpg: Failure{cause=org.apache.http.conn.ConnectionPoolTimeoutException: Timeout waiting for connection from pool, reason=TRANSPORT_ERROR, message='null', httpStatusCode=null} When uploading avatar: 10407, size: com.atlassian.jira.avatar.SizeOrOriginal$OriginalSize@8201fe

Please assist.

1) Try another browser.

2) Try log out and re log in again. 

3) Your pic is too large.

I don't get any error, but trying a different browser worked for me. Thanks for that suggestion.

I had the same issue using Jira 7.7 and IE11. Switched to Firefox and that fixed it. Thanks!
