We are looking into using Advanced Roadmaps, and we are trying to figure out what to do with the Team field.
We have several projects in Jira, each one with their unique 3-5 teams.
We currently have our own custom Team field, which has a few options per project, using context. So in each project we can see and select only the relevant teams within the project.
When we looked at the Advanced Roadmaps Team field, using the shared teams, we couldn't find a way to filter out teams per project. This means that if we use this field with shared teams, we will have a lot of teams to select from (about 50 or more teams).
If we use private teams, we will not be able to use it in Jira, which doesn't make sense (since many issues will be created and assigned in Jira and not within a plan).
What is the recommended approach for this?
I would think that if the field is put into the Hide when Empty section of the screen, the field would not be visible in Jira projects that are not working with advanced roadmap
