I am an administrator on a project but not the project lead. I have the permission to edit, close and resolve tasks but can't do these procedures on one of our projects because the I am not the project lead. Is there a way around this?
Thank you all for the quick response. I have tried changing the permission schemes and can't figure out what I need to change or add to make it work. As a test I removed the project lead from the permission for edit, close and resolve issues. I also added everything I thought would allow me to get the permissions I need. I have also checked the permission helper and do not have any failed conditions for any of three permissions I mentioned earlier yet I still can't resolve the issue for this one project. Any other suggestions?

Can you just create a dummy user group and then give the permissions which you are looking for and just add yourself as a user in that group and then just check ( NOTE: This is just something which I tried and it is working).

Well I've added two groups to no avail. I pass all of the permission checker requirements without any failure conditions and it still won't let me resolve the issue. Could it have to do with when the project or the issues were created? This is quite the frustrating thing for a new user.

Hi @Danno,
no, the project lead is only one user.
Have a look at the permission scheme of the project. There you can see and grant all the permissions for your project.
Grant the permissions at least to the project-role "Administrator".
