Hi Atlassian Community!
We are looking into customizing our JIRA cloud experience to make it match our company branding and identity. We have already updated the logo and the Navigation bar and are moving now onto the Favicons.
One of the options that's being discussed is to change the current Atlassian Favicons from Blue to Orange (since that matches our company colors). I have been searching the community posts and already gone through the Atlassian Guidelines but we cannot find anywhere if we are allowed to make that change. We don't want to accidently cause any copyright and branding identity issues.
Does anyone know if we can do this? Otherwise, I will just scrap it from our visual update proposal.
From being an Atlassian Partner i know, that they are quite strict with their brand and use of logos and such. The Brand guidelines suggest, that the logo is only available in 3 color, which usually means, that other colors aren't supposed to be used.
Is your site available outside your company? Then I certainly wouldn't recommend altering the existing logo but rather using your own.
Hi Rebekka,
This is exactly the information I was looking for. Thank you!
I was suspecting that would be the case but since it wasn't explicitly mentioned anywhere, I wasn't 100% sure. I will scrap the option from our internal proposal and we will just choose one of the other ones.
Have an awesome end of the week!

Hi @Gabriela Koleva ,
In the native Jira, direct customization options for changing the favicon color are not available.
However, it is possible to modify the favicon image itself. The favicon typically represents the brand identity and you can use a customized favicon, such as your company logo for your Jira instance. You can follow specific steps mention in the documentation to replace the default favicon with your own custom image.
Also, if you feel my input help you please accept the answer.
Regards,
Bhushan
