Hi @Venkata Rajanna Velichety

there are two standard reports available that may help get what you need:

User Workload Report

Time Tracking Report

Note that you will need Time Tracking for both of these to work.

Thanks @Scott Theus . One question to the above is

which report to use for the below scenario

Here is the Business case : If I want my teams to do estimation and time spent on Bugs / new enhancement or urgent enhancement requests.

Then how can I setup or make the Jira (Software) Cloud to automatically calculate the resource utilization and not the developer him self enter his working hours , the report should be smart to do the calculation and not from backend or miss using the system

Please advise me here on above reports which one to consume for this business case?

Jira does not have that ability out of the box, you'll need an add-on for that. Tempo may be the best fit for your business case, you can check it out and get a 30 day free trial here:

@Scott Theus  : I have a question here.

Is there any possible way i find out

Planned vs actual efforts .

Resource allocation (Over utilized , under utilized etc)

Originial vs remaining

commited vs completed @ team level and program level.

and Reporting

If yes kindly suggest us ?

@Venkata Rajanna Velichety  take a look at the Time tracking Report it will show you the following (from the Atlassian documentation at "Reporting" )

  • Original Estimate - The original estimate of the total amount of time it would take to complete this issue.
  • Estimated Time Remaining - The current estimate of the remaining amount of time it would take to complete this issue.
  • Time Spent - The amount of time spent on the issue. This is the aggregate amount of time that has been logged against this issue.
  • Accuracy- The accuracy of the original estimate compared to the current estimate for the issue. It is the difference between the sum of the Time Spent and Estimated Time Remaining fields, and the Original Estimate field.

You may also want to run the User Workload and Version Workload reports.

@Scott Theus  -Thanks for the above quick responses . But Can I generate the above reports using Tempo Planner Plug in ??

Currently I am evaluating the Tempo Planner Plug in to generate reports

Like Resource utilization ( work overload) etc.
