Can you sort issue activity (e.g. reverse chronological )

I would like to be able to see the most recent issue activity first.

 

Anyway to configure for this, or to enable manual sorting?

Hello Mark,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

When using the new issue view, currently, it's not possible to sort activities like comments, history, work logs.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of such ability and it's already In Progress:

Looks like this was just implemented today. But it is defaulting to Newest First (which is what Mark asked for) and I can't see a way to change the default.

Update. Apparently, it takes a little time for the default to change. When I switched to Oldest First and clicked on another issue it was still Newest First. But now all my issues are Oldest First.
