I have multiple epics where I can set the period for working on the epic subtasks in the timeline. I do this by hovering the cursor over the calendar and the scheduled time for the epic appears. However, I cannot do this for all epics. Where do I make the configuration change for the epic to allow setting the period in the timeline?
Hi @azaandam
Based on your provided context, you could try adding the work duration directly to the Epic. If you don't see the fields "Start date" and "Due date", please check the Fields configuration on the Epic issue type. I hope this works for you!

Hi @azaandam
I see. You can find the configuration tool here (see the arrow)
And then find the Start date and Due date fields, add them to your issue layout:

Hi @azaandam Are you able to add the Start date and Due date from the Epic issue detail view itself?

Hello @Dave Mathijs
Unfortunately I cannot add the start and due date. See attached picture. Where can I configure this so that I can add those fields?
