Cannot connect to the jira instance- error fetching projects

Hi,

Tried to do Test Case Import. But we cannot connect to the jira instance. Using the user account. Getting error as " error Fetching projects" - Unexpected response code:401JIRA error.JPG

401 means "unauthorised", which usually means you have not got the right user credentials being sent by the tool you are connecting with.

Hi Nic,

Thanks for your reply. But we are giving the right credentials provided for the tool connection. Is there any other suggestions or setup required in the tool end.

There's not a lot more I can guess at.  I would like to see the full error message coming back, but a 401 usually is a simple "account credentials not valid at the other end"
