Hey everyone,
Wanted to know if there is an option to change an issue description field with specific context based on another single choice selection field's value - and yet before you click 'Create' button.
Meaning change it on the fly.
Let's say I'm on the Create Issue screen, selecting Option A in a custom single choice field, and want the description field to be populated with a certain context.
If that possible some way or another ?

In native jira, you cannot do that. Please check if there is any plugin in https://marketplace.atlassian.com/ which can help you.
In native jira, once the ticket is created, we can make use of automation rule based on a field value and add new description to the ticket.
