Changing Workflow Scheme changed the "Add" date of all issues, can I restore the originals?

I changed the Workflow Scheme of my project. When I did that, it basically added every issue to the new workflow. This result is that all of my reports are useless. The Sprint Burndown and Version Reports all think that every issue was added mid-sprint.

Does changing the workflow for an issue change the updated or created date of the issue? I didn't think so. Can you see what date it was that got changed in the History tab of an affected issue? Agile reports are based on that information in general.

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-7831 was a bug about this a long time ago

I wonder whether all your new statuses are mapped into the columns for the agile report?

Thanks for the reply!

It does appear as if the "Updated Date" was set at the time of changing the workflow. When I look at a burndown chart, for example, I'm thinking the reason it's whacky is that every story has this as the "Event Detail":

Open issue moved into board (from an unmapped status)

So Jira thinks all every story was added at that moment.
