Changing default "Time Tracking Hours per Day"

Changing the value of "Working hours per day" from 8 to 12 and trying to specify a number of hours greater than 8 in the task results in the error message "9h exceeds daily limit of 8h". How and where is it managed?

Check the configuration of the hours per day in Jira's time tracking configuration and if necessary modify the values as follows: "Settings" --> Issues --> Issue Features and select Time Tracking:

All this is known. The problem with this is that the hours you enter here have no effect - when you try to log more than 8 hours, you always get an error message that 8 hours are exceeded, even though a 12-hour workday has been set.
