Changing the project on a board

Tarjani Pilkington January 31, 2018

Hi there,

I've created a Test Board but I linked it to some issues on an existing project.  I'm wanting to change the project it is linked to, but struggling on how to do this.  I've read a few questions here, but am cautious as I don't want this to impact any issues.  So far I've considered deleting the board, changing the project associated to the board, changing the filter, but I'm still not sure what to do.

My aim is to change the project it is associated to, so that i can connect it to a project that has 3 of my own tasks/issues connected to it.  Can anyone advise on changing the project for the board?  I've tried going into Manage Boards and editing this way, but having no luck.

Every board displays issues from the filter associated with it. If you want to change the project or issues in the board, you need to edit that filter associated with that board.

You can find the filter from the board configuration.

Thanks for your reply @Jobin Kuruvilla [Adaptavist] .  This might be why I was having troubles doing this.  When clicking on the edit option you mention for that filter, I get a wheel that won't stop turning.  I will have to keep coming back to this.  Not yet resolved.  Will check in again.
