Checklists to subtasks

I refer to this statement: 

• Checklists: All checklists will be imported as issue sub-tasks.

Every step and role permission setting et al followed to the 't', but still, no subtasks from checklists.

@[deleted] What type of Jira project are you trying to import into?  It is important to reference the table at the top.  If you have Jira software it will not import the checklists.  If you are not using Jira Software it will import them.
