Chinese text lost when export from JIRA to Excel

hello,

when export from jira to excel, all the chinese are unreadable.

Welcome to Atlassian community!

I believe your problem must be probably caused because of the encoding used (UTF-8), the same problem which happens to Japanese customers and was reported here:

CSV Export in other encoding than UTF-8

Although we are still working to provide other types encoding, can you please check if the workaround version provided in the link works for you? Here it is:

Latest Excel supports UTF-8.

CSV (UTF-8) support: Open and save CSV files that use UTF-8 character encoding.

Export as html format without this issue.
