It is a team project(free plan) and I am an Admin and yet i cannot change these settings, I have modified the workflows of the ticket so perhaps this relates?
I'm also seeing this, this sounds more like a new feature that's preventing something or a bug. I haven't made any changes in a while but now I cant move statuses to different columns.
I put in a support ticket to have them investigate, as this is preventing my team from adopting a new workflow. (Ref: https://support.atlassian.com/requests/PCS-112862/)
Might be related to a JIRA software update? just saw this pop up on my screen.

Hi Javen - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Is this a Jira Software Team-managed project? Or a Jira Work Management Team-managed project?

Thank you! Apologies for the late reply I have just come back to this after the initial frustration and it appears to have been fixed through noe ffort of my own!
I dont remember exactly but Software would be the logical choice, however after logging in today everything is working as intended soI suppose it must have been a bug that has now been fixed

Hi @Javen Thompson and welcome to the Community!
Apart from the greyed out state of your screen, it looks pretty weird to me that apparently you have somehow managed to get the to do status to the right of your in progress and done statuses.
I have never seen something like that before, but I would indeed start by trying to undo the change you did in your workflow there and see how that impacts your board situation.
Hope this helps!

Hello, apologies for the late reply I have jsut come back to this. My issues have now resolved themselves, but yes essentially i could create a new column but it could not be moved and no statuses could be moved either.
I just logged in today to see and everythign works perfectly fine so eprhaps there has been a fix!
