I have all of the permissions needed to start and end sprints. I'm on a Scrum board. Last sprint I was able to start and end the sprint with no issues. I'm not able to this sprint. Filter is project = (project name) and labels = (label name). We're using labels as the board filter.
hi @Keisha Cooper
Assuming that you have the right permissions to start/end sprints and board filter includes only current project, it's also possible that other issues outside of the board scope were added to the sprint using the edit sprint field.
You can validate that using advanced search option to retrieve all issues in the current sprint and ensure that there are no issues outside of the board scope or from other projects.
Let us know how it went for you.
Cheers,
Karim
I see all of the issues in the search results.
Before this last sprint, I combined other boards into one board. We had those boards set up the same way - using labels to differentiate boards. Sprints were fine. All buttons were shown and I could see the active sprints in the active sprint view.
Later on, we combined teams so I created a new board but went to the Scrum style board. Last sprint I was able to see the start and end buttons in the backlog. I started and ended the sprint from there. This sprint I don't see the end sprint button in the backlog view and in the active sprint view, the complete sprint button is greyed out.
Just trying to give more information to help troubleshoot.....

hi @Keisha Cooper
If you are have multiple active sprints (parallel sprints), it's normal that you see a greyed-out button.
If this is the case for you, please consider filtering to the desired sprint and the button will be enabled (check the illustration below)
Let me know how it went for you
Cheers,
Karim
