Completed User stories and completed sprints, user stories appearing in backlog?

Marcus Bishop September 28, 2021

Hey there,

We've completed 7 previous sprints and all the user stories within them are set to done, however they've all moved back into the backlog?

is there a way of checking why it has done this, annoyingly this bulks out our backlog to sort out for future sprints and Ideally I don't want to have to drag 200+ Stories into their respective sprints again under the backlog screen.

nothing has changed for these User Stories but randomly they all appeared yesterday, was there a patch or platform update, that could have caused this?Capture.PNG

I would guess that someone reconfigured your board in such a way that the issues no longer fall into the last column on it.

is there a way I can put this back to how it was?

You should be able to go back into the board configuration and put all the status mappings back in a correct configuration.  This mostly means ensuring the status "done" (and any other "end of workflow" status) is in the very last column on the board.
