My organization has multiple Jira projects. I see on some projects they have a components tab on the left, where they are able to setup and make great use of components. However in MY project its missing! Any ideas what the difference is? We are both using the same project type. I also noticed that their project says "Kanban Board", mine just says "Board".
One difference I did notice is their project path looks like this:
/jira/software/c/projects/THEIRPROJECT
while mine is missing the /c/ :
/jira/software/projects/MYPROJECT
Hi Norman - Team-managed Projects do not have components available to them.
You can vote for that function and follow here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17601
@John Funk Thank you! Out of curiosity, is the inclusion of the /c/ in the project path a clue indicating that the other project is not a team managed project?

Hi @Norman Tatlock If you have Project Administration permission you must be able to enable/disable features from Project Settings -> Features
You'll get a view like this
Maybe if you specify the feature you need I can try something else.
Good luck!

Maybe you are using a Next-Gen project template. You could try to create a new classic project and you'll find the components tab.
