Is there an easy way to convert a projected sprint to a future sprint? Or after planning do you have to create the sprint and then assign each ticket?
Hi @Richard Way - Can you please clarify what you mean by "projected sprint"?
You can load up your board with as many sprints as you like and in turn, you can add issues to them. There are three ways to categorize sprints:
Sure, if you go to Plans and show sprints, you can see all the closed/open/future sprints, after the last future sprint more sprints continue and are called "projected sprints". You can see projected sprints all the way out to 2025. You can drag stories into the projected sprints, but there's no way to create a sprint from the projected sprint so far as I can tell, with all the stories attached.

Thanks for the clarity - So you're talking about from within Advanced Roadmaps and wanting the ability to create new sprints from there. I do not believe this is possible. The projected sprint is merely a planning tool that has no correlation to the Jira backend.

Yep, Mark is right - "projected" sprints do not exist, they are AR guessing, based on old sprints, what sprints you might create in the future. It needs to have these ghosts in order to display roadmaps consistently.

yeah, I was hoping there would be a way to generate an actual sprint from a projected sprint. Sounds like a feature request though.
