Hello,
I was wondering if it is possible to copy a projects settings (the workflow, kanban board settings etc), or maybe create a new kanban board with a created template and workflow coupled with it.
So we have a main project/board we use where all of the issues of other projects come together. It doesnt have any project specific quickfiler. It looks like this :
What I would like to do is to create a new project which instantly uses the same columns and workflow so that the issues from that project also can be viewed in the main projectboard. Every time I create a new project I now get the basic To do, In progress and Done.
Thanks in advance,
Tom :)

Automatically when you create a new project, it's not possible
What you can do is, copy the board and select the new project in order to have the same columns and board options
For workflow, you can use shared configuration when creating a new project
Note - all the schemes in your source project will be shared with new project as well
If you need separate workflows, copy the workflow and then associate it once you create the project
Let me know if you have any queries
Thanks,

Hi @Pramodh M and @Jack Brickey
Thanks for the quick answers!
Your solution seems to work so far @Pramodh M
I only have 1 problem after copying the board, that problem is that when I create tasks in the backlog it creates the problems on the Project the board is copied from and not the new project.

Allright, this had to do with the quickfilters which is solved right now, I had to assign the new quickfilters to the corresponding board. Now I am getting that when a board is copied by someone else it automatically goes private so others can not see the copied board inside of the project.

When you create a new CMP project you can choose to use an existing project as a 'template'. However, it does not create an exact mirror of the other project and that includes the board. So the bottom line is that you will need to recreate your board which can take a bit of work if you have a complex board but certainly doable.
