Copying components from parent to sub-task doesn't work

I have an automation to copy Labels and Components from a parent issue to a subtask. The Labels are working fine, but the Components on the sub-task are left blank and not copied.

I've tried both {{issue.parent.components}} and {{isse.parent.component/s}} (as suggested here: Solved: Automation rule for sub-task, copy parent componen... (atlassian.com)

EDIT: Realised that the Labels doesn't work either if there are multiple labels. Get an error about Labels not being able to contain spaces as it tries to set Labels to "Label1, Label2"

Hey @Sanjay Samani

Can you check this rule please ?

You are not obligated to use smart values :)

let me know if it's convenient

Ah, when I'd selected "COPY" rather than set next to the field, and it had set it as Add Component from Current Issue, it wasn't clear that I could click on that and change it to Parent Issue.

Thank you for the help, super appreciated.

Hi @Sanjay Samani ,

Please try like {{issue.parent.component/s}} .
