Hello Team,
We have close to 20 boards or so which are designed from component/s and are looking for a way to design a dashboard that contains individual gadgets for Estimated Story Points VS Completed Story Points for all the sprints/boards (further broken down by release versions). Is it possible to do so? Please advise.
Thanks!
Hi @Priyanth
here's another app that you might like: JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting and filtering by all your issue fields. You can also group your issues by any issue field or issue fields, and calculate sum-ups across these groupings. With these capabilities, you can create powerful reports, including one that should pretty much match your requirements.
This is how it could look in action (I just put this together in 2 minutes or 3):
You probably know that you can trial any app for free for 1 month directly from the Atlassian Marketplace, so perhaps give it a try and see if it solves your requirements.
Disclaimer: I work on JXL.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes

Hi @Priyanth -
If you are open to a 3rd party this is something that we could help with at minware.
We currently calculate velocity at the task level in our Sprint Insights report:
You can see we estimated this task to take a day (gray) but it ended up taking 2.7 (blue) and as a result has a velocity ratio of 0.36 (red -- 1 divided by 2.7). Note: The 2.7 Dev Days does not require worklogs or time tracking, we calculate it from Git.
These tasks, which each have a velocity if there are estimates, roll up to the sprint / Epic level in our Value Stream report:
All of the data is there so it would just be a matter of how you want to group things in the dashboard.
Please let me know if we can help.

Hi @Priyanth - maybe you could arrive at this via export / custom reporting with a tool like EasyBI but I suspect it might be challenging given the lack of responses to your question.
Here are the instructions to export your issues: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/export-issues/
FYI - we offer a free trial if you want to take a look at our reports before trying to DIY.
Cheers,

@Priyanth Yes - the company is called minware. Here is a link to our marketplace listing: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/vendors/1222631
You can sign up through the website and I will see it come through or you can email me directly (first@) and I'm happy to discuss.

Hey @Dan -minware- Looks like this is for cloud only. Is there a version/ app that's compatible for Data Center version of Jira?

@Priyanth I must have missed your tag, sorry about that! I don't have it available today but I can talk with the team and prioritize if this is something you are still trying to solve for. Can we connect briefly to discuss requirements?
