Hi , i am trying to create issue using mail received on particular mail id.
I have configured my mail id as for testing purpose, while doing this i got following issue:
issue: for every mail sent to configured mail id. A Jira ticket is getting raised and that mail is getting deleted from my mail inbox.
expecteded : Jira ticket has to be created only if the mail subject contains the project "key", rest of the email should be ignored if it not containing key in subect.
can anyone help me out to resolve this issue?
Hi @chandra bhushan,
please let me know how the customer/sender will know the project key to write on the subject?
Using "Create a new issue or add a comment to an existing issue", it will add the comment to an existing ticket but it will not create a new ticket if the subject contains an issue key/project key.
my requirement is project specific, it is only for complete project team. the team like to have this functionality so that any members sends mail to configured mail it should raise a ticket in jira?
could you please help me in achieving this? which handler shall i configured for this requirement?

Yes, once the mail is processed by mail handler and the ticket will be created in jira then the email is deleted from Inbox.

if that is the case how to configure so that it process only to the mail which have particular key mentioned in mail .
if incoming mail is not having key it should be ignored.
