Dear community,

I am currently working on 5 project and would need a nice overview (roadmap) showing the status of all these projects, together with the status of their epics. However, I cannot afford extra costs.

Is there a nice way (maybe via Dashboards) to get an overview on all projects?

Many thanks for your help and advice

Marie

Hi caglad,

many thanks for your feedback - I will try it out. However, with the first option, I would only see the Epics underneath each other but not within a roadmap?

Many thanks

Marie

yes, I would recommend option two as the "free" roadmap item

Also, if all of your projects are under ONE JIRA project, you can also turn on roadmap-beta on that board and see it to.

To start with create a filter

for all epics (in one or multiple projects).. including dates in a start date and due fields.

so you would have filter results of:

project    epic     start date        due date

X              YYY      1/1/01           2/1/02

Y               ZZZ      1/2/03         4/1/03

If you display just the above fields - it would make a nice display. The other thing you could do is add a fix version to each epic and its issues and subtasks and there is a dashboard gadget called "JIRA roadmap" and it will display the status of your release like thisjira4.png
