Create new Custom Fields via csv

Hello,

I would like to create a certain number of custom fields and would like to know if this is possible via a .csv import.

We are using Jira Datacenter Version 8.15.1

Hi @Harald Mayer 

Your cab can’t create custom fields however when using external system import as an admin, you can create fields to match what is being imported.

I don’t remember fully if this allows you create just text fields or it allows you select the type of field you create though.

Note that the standard bulk import found under the issues main menu does not allow creation of custom fields though.

Hello,

yes, i can confirm now that you can create custom Fields via .CSV import.

Just use "New custom Field" in the Fields option. You can also select a Field Type.
