I'm trying to understand why the create screen doesn't look like the view/edit screen.
The format of the description field, such as the multiple choice custom fileds, have a layout thats not so nice and easy to use for Users.
Any suggestions to change this? Or maybe do you have the right explanation to this?

I guess I would say that is simply the way it is designed. The Create screen is implemented to be more of a "form" to enter data and generally captures only the info that is important at the time of entry. Whereas the view is intended to capture the full lifecycle of the issue and assist the assignee and others to understand the issue more completely. I may be missing your point as I don't really understand what you mean by the "....have a horrible layout". Maybe you could show what the better layout would be?
The horrible layout is perhaps saying too much, excuse me for that. But a multiple choice field should look like the component field for example. Filling the description field should be easy and not confusing by displaying unformatted text.
I've used the Server version before, and the fields weren't so different in the layout from one screen to another.
My issue is: I will rollout in a small company where the most of the people aren't so in touch with technology and digitalisation. So I'm tying to build it so simple and easy as possible.

got it. indeed custom fields do appear different that system fields. I would suggest providing feedback to Atlassian on this using the feedback link under your avatar.
