Create several sprints in just one project

I am trying to use Jira to manage a generic project (it is not going to be a development project). I was thinking one sprint could be a project milestone. But in a project, sometimes several milestone could be active.

So, is there any way to have 2 or more sprint active?

Thank you!

@Laura Vallejo This outlines how you can enable parallel sprints in Jira. You will need to be a Jira administrator to make this change.

Bear in mind that this is a Jira-wide setting which will enable parallel sprints for all projects, so if you're not a site admin then it might have to be consulted with them first!

I have searched in the administration panel without success. Where can I changed the settings?

Thank you very much for your help

@Laura Vallejo Navigate to Jira Administration Settings (Top right) -> Applications -> Jira software configuration to enable/disable the parallel sprints feature.
