Create subtasks under child issue

I see the option to add a child issue to a story but wanted to know if its also possible to add a sub task to a child issue?

So the flow would be Story>Child Issue>sub task of child issue

Hi,

Generally, the system is Epic > Story > child issues (here child issues is sub task). 
Story can have child issues which would be subtask but again this child issue cannot have further child task. 
Hence, you can create a link to the another ticket but this won’t be shown as parent child issues.

In your scenario, is "Story" a child of "Epic", and not linked?
