Creating Customer Field - that is a "Date Picker" in the format of 'Quarter' and not 'Day'

Selena Peri April 14, 2024

Kia Ora All,

I'm wanting to create a 'customer field' in my JSP for: Data Picker... but the date range I want to be able to use is in 'Quarter' and not 'Day'.

It's seems when selecting to create a new customer field as: Data Picker... the picker of the date needs to be a 'day' and I'm unable to have it as a 'quarter' period.

Is it possible to create a customer field Data where you select quarter period? As follows:

Hi @Selena Peri

Wouldn't a Select List (single choice) be a better option?

Then your options could be...

  • Q1FY25, Q2FY25, or...
  • Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun...
  • ...etc

Kia Ora @Ste Wright ,

Thanks for reply.

I thought there would be a 'actual' option to setup the customer field as per my attached screenshot in my first port.

What I'm currently doing is I've created automation between JDP and JSP... however, one of the fields I want automation with is: Start Date...

However, the 'Start Date' captured on the JDP is in the format as per my screenshot.

And, the Start Date in my JSP is "Data Picker" format.

Because the current two are compatible - I thought if I created a new customer field that was the same format setup as the JDP then I would be able to copy that Start Date JDP info over into my JSP.

Therefore, is there a way to setup in the same format that my JDP Start Date option is in my JSP?

Thank you.
