Custom Charts for Jira: Can I chart the created/resolved dates from two projects in one chart?

We record customer issues in one project and they get sent to engineering to resolve in a separate project. We are using Custom Charts for Jira to make some dashboards and would like to show a 90 day rolling chart of the issues created in the CUST project against the issues resolved in the DEV project.

Has anyone been able to make that work?

Shoot, that actually didn't work. I get total of resolved and total of created bugs and eng issues.

Can you clarify what you mean by Created/Resolved?  That's what you're getting, but may not be what you're actually looking for.

Do you want the total number of created tickets, and the total number of resolved tickets OR, do you want the total number of created tickets that were also resolved?

I want a line graph with two lines, one being the customer support issues using their created date, the other being the engineering issues using their resolution date...displayed by week for the last 90 days. I'm basically trying to see if after we resolved (released) engineering changes if the number of created customer support bug issues goes up or down.

I have the right filter but the graph displays all CUST and DEV issues created and all CUST and DEV issues resolved by week for 90 days. I get one created line and one resolved line but they are the sum of customer and eng issues for each week.

Yes, you just use a JQL query that includes 2 projects.

In the data source selection you can specify several methods to pull data, you'll just need to point to an appropriate JQL query (make sure you save it with permissions that allow your intended audience to see it)

I did that but couldn't get it to display by created date for one and by resolved date for the other. I need a weekly look at the number of customer bugs opened vs number of engineering issues resolved. Do I have to set up custom grouping?

Oooh, wait. I got it! I tried it again and used Dates in the Chart By field.
