Custom Field mapping to screens

Am Using Jira, I want to add a custom field "Relevant to", This Custom should be display only in EPIC. I don't want the  custom field "Releavent to" in any of the screens.

I want only in EPIC screen, how to do that...

You need to add it to the Epic screens (create, edit, view if you have them all) When you create the field you'll get an option to say which screens to place it on. Managing the screen schemes and fields is in the JIRA admin section of the documentation

Yes, Its showing to manage which screen schemes. But here only 3 option

1. Default Screen

2. Project Default screen

3. Project Bug Screen

If I map it Default or project default screen, it showing in all the issue types except Bug.

No where am seeing this scheme is for EPIC screen or Story Screen. I can see only Bug Screen Scheme.

My requirement is to map the field to Epic alone. not to any of the issue types

Hi @manikandan_dhanaraj 

In that case you would need to create a new Screen Scheme for Epic.

• Create a new screen called Epic (copy the existing one and rename it)
• Add your new field to that copied screen
• Create a new Screen Scheme called "Epic Screen Scheme" with the screen you just created above.
• Go to your Issue Type Screen Scheme and map Epic Issue Type to "Epic Screen Scheme". Make your other projects are not using the same Issue Type Screen Scheme.

This is the mapping: Screens -> Screen Scheme (for different operations) -> Issue Type Screen Scheme.
