Hi Guys
I have a custom field, a user picker, called Owner. I have added this to all the screens of my project to be displayed under the Reporter field.
When I load a ticket, the field appears briefly, but when the ticket has finished loading fully, the field disappears and can't be seen.
Now, I understand in some situations a default value is required for it to always display, so I created a custom user and assigned it as the default, but the same situation still happens.
I am using the latest Jira Software Cloud version with the new layout.
Any advice would be appreciated!
I manage to resolve this - Somebody had re-created the screen scheme and had 4 screens on there, including "Default for All" and an "Edit Screen" - It was added to the default but not edit, which I've done now and it works.
Thanks!
Hi,
spend quite some time in the last few days to debug a similar issue. In our case, the field "fix version" was disappearing. The resolution was that I belonged to the administrators and not the developer group and the administrators did not have the permission to resolve issues.

Hi Umer,
please check the context of the field. I have just reproduced it on my cloud instance with no issue. Empty field also appears. Have you tried using other browser? Is there any filtering setup for the field?

Hi Blazej
The context is set to all issues types and global context also - Also in the configuration issue layout, it is displayed exactly where I want it to - I've also tried in multiple browsers and still get the same issue.
It's very strange indeed!

If I switch back to the Old Layout view, then yes, I see it there on edit screen. But I am using the new Jira layout view, as is everyone else in my department.
